I take it for as patriotic as you claim to be, you never at least tried to support our country by serving in the military to protect and defend our way of life?

Personally, I'm all for mandatory military service. End of the day, it's a good thing all the way around IMO.

Cameron Kinley ticks me off more than anyone kneeling during the NA, but he's probably not even on your radar.

A man gets to a military academy (great accomplisment on it's own) but gets deferred military service due to a potential NFL career? The biggest football game ever growing up was always Army vs Navy in my parents house (ironically enough, generally played in Philly).

All one has to do is look to Pat Tillman who threw his career away in the NFL to serve his country because he thought it was the right thing to do and the irony of how he actually was KIA and how our government presented the "facts".

i think if even if you take away ticket sales and consumer goods, tv would still be plenty.

TV revenue is derived from advertising...if consumers boycotted any product being advertised during games...the revenue would dry up...

If sports fans were intelligent enough to organize and unionize....professional sports organizations would be scared to death...!

I completely agree, however, the issue is the reason why you may not like this topic, it could become very political very fast, and we know what will happen.

Luckily most guys who live in the country like to shoot guns, so one of the largest threads hasn't become too political because if you had anti gunners becoming a part of the thread, it could get closed pretty quickly.

I like watching pro and college games for my own reasons, and see no reason for anyone to state politically what they don't like pro sports.

Does that make sense?

CK made a political stance which ruined his carreer. Some people don't mind, and some people hate what the sport has become. because of one man. Got it. That said, not the topic at hand. Move on or don't comment if you don't like it, or give your opinion on the question at hand per the topic.

Got to ask when did they start these preseason scrimages with the preseason opponent?

Honestly, never really cared or bothered with preseason games as they don't mean anything for the season, but this isn't the first fight I've been reading about in a preseason scrimmage this year.
