I said that's the way it should be; we're stuck with the way that it is.
However, I do and always have tried to consider my actions and purchases which is one reason I don't have as much as some do... unfortunately "Made in USA" has become a gimmick.

Ok, chill, chill. It is easy to google this and find conclusive data either way, if you don't want to do any critical thinking about it. But please do note:

The lancet study did not control for the seasonal cycle in death rates; deaths are always higher in winter, due to influenza and other non-weather-related factors.

Obviously a homeless person living on the street is likely to die due to cold weather, which is a large number of their counted deaths. But any regular person living inside a home should be able to stay warm. Conversely, especially in areas without widespread air conditioning, heat is unescapable. The late june heat wave this year in the northwest killed ~600 people in British Columbia, ~450 in Washington, and ~160 in Oregon. Tell me the last time you heard about a cold-snap racking up deaths like that? (they don't) And if the planet is getting warmer (confirmed), which type of temperature death do you expect to be more prevalent?
