This is an interesting video of the repair of a differential housing on a two axle truck.
Check out the stack of spring leaves on that thing!
Apparently, they haven't invented ratchets there, as all they use is an L shaped handle to turn sockets, and wrenches.
Some really hard working dudes and good welders there too
I love their delivery truck.

What filler rod do you suppose they use?

;-)

Nice video

Have you seen the size loads they put on their trucks? They need that many springs.

I've watched a number of their videos and find them interesting in what they can do with only basic tools. Most of the work is done outdoors or a small "hole in the wall" at best.
I've also found it interesting how they decorate their trucks and tractors.

I wonder how many of them have toes left after being a mechanic wearing sandals for all those years!

That how they trim their toenails, with welding slag.o_O On the one with them riveting the frame together there was a guy holding a rivet drift with his bare hands and the other guy swinging sledge hammer with all his might. When I nod my head you hit it.🤔🍻

They are very interesting. If you want to see one that's scary, look up battery repair, bare hands and feet in battery acid, I can't understand why their hands and feet aren't just bones.
I get a kick out of the way their install bearings also, beating the living crap out of it to get it in place, no drivers just right on the bearing, wonder it even turns.
Most of the time, they take the bearing apart and clean it.
Good on them tho.

I watched one, I think it was an alternator rebuild and there was a price superimposed over the video at the end and it was something ridiculous, $4-$5.

I would think because they don't have to worry about them breaking, ever see them using cheater bars on them? I'm talking a 4-5' bar and buddy standing on the end of it......Mike
