Have you seen the size loads they put on their trucks? They need that many springs.
Yes, eyeballing i guess they arent shy loading 60 ton on a three axle truck.... these guys allways have work, beefing up chassis, then stacking more leafs, then welding new axle tubes to broken axles... its a never ending cycle on Pakistani Truck Channel...

Another major factor is wear and tear.
Roads in that area are mountainous and TERRIBLE!

That how they trim their toenails, with welding slag.o_O On the one with them riveting the frame together there was a guy holding a rivet drift with his bare hands and the other guy swinging sledge hammer with all his might. When I nod my head you hit it.🤔🍻

I've seen that in a few of their videos. The guy with the hammer must have a good aim, because I haven't seen one of them missing a finger or cast on their hands.

I'll have to find the link to the video, but it showed a brand new two axle truck chassis that they completely disassembled, right down to the bare individual frame rails. All the rivets had the heads chiseled off with a chisel and a sledge hammer, then punched out with the same. Video title said they were going to "strenghthen" it.

You don't have to go as far away as Pakistan to see similar type repair.
90 miles away......in Cuba also!
Do they load 50 ton on a 3 axle truck in Cuba as well ?

No, I don't think so, but they make parts, or jury rig most everything.

I watched a couple videos of them fixing broken rear axle housings, usually broken in the inner spindle area. They usually cut it off and welded on a new spindle, and they sometimes added a strap on the bottom of the housing to reinforce it. They even have a jig like a mill divider head set up so they can chuck the good spindle in a three jaw chuck and rotate it as they weld and cut on it. They also have a large lathe they can put a whole housing in and rotate it if needed.

There’s videos of China trucks running a lot heavier than that.
