NH TD95D Hydraulic Issue

I have come across this site on occasion for some issues on my equipment but now have an issue, joined and hope I can get it resolved.

I have a 2007 NH TD95D with 3521 hours and this week lost scv hydraulics. So since new when changing the hydraulic filter it gets air locked and can take awhile to get hydraulic oil to scv and 3pt. I changed filter 3 hours ago and hydraulics were not starting up. Ended up taking filter off filling with oil and instantly all was good. Went and started round baling and 50 bales in lost scv's. Went back next day and put gauge on scv and nothing and filter full of oil. There was no odd sounds before during or after the issue. Looking for ideas on what to check next.

I presume you checked the fluid level in the rear axle. Are you sure that the hydraulic connections are positively hooked up ?Does your three point work? If you have a loader, does it work? How about the power steering?
If they are all working (both the steering pump and the main hydraulic pump), that would rule out a failed hydraulic pump. How about the linkage on the offending valve? Is it opening and closing the spool?

Ended up shearing key off hydraulic pump shaft, broken lock washer and nut was off end of hydraulic shaft.
