That reminds me of a post WWII book series about two brothers who invented a battery powered electric plane and their tales of flying around the world. It had one fuel cell to lift, and another to go forward.

You could say it was pre-rocket area sci-fi.

Out of Sight, Out of Mind..... always makes me chuckle.....

IIRC the legend.... it was English/Russian translation software being tested, many years ago. That ^ phrase was injected in English, translated to Russian, spun around and converted back to English.

Came back out as "Blind, and Crazy".

Accurate I could argue, in many cases, including this one.....

( I suspect Sarcasm On, in your post....... it's fairly well known that many countries (including 3rd world ones) won't accept any E-waste today).

Rgds, D.
i guess you mean electronic waste when you say E waste? my first though was environmental waste.

a quick check reconfirmed that we are still sending our garbage all over the world. some states send it to other states.

we import finished goods, we consume, we export the waste

id bet most if not all developed countries do the same.

Next someone is going to say they can successfully make electric golf carts that stay charged long enough for me to play 18 holes.

I just read that the Kia Niro EV is the top rated consumer EV, ranking just below the premium Tesla 3. It's hard to tell who will win the EV race.

Why don't they make pantagraph electric cars like trains? No batteries.
A 120V drag car wouldn't be bad either. All you need is a 1340 ft. extension cord.
Hard to believe electric cars have been around since 1832! This picture taken in 1884.

Like I mentioned before, back on the 60's there was a pink Victorian house with a glass garage here in South Bend. In that garage was a very early turn of the century electric car. My father pointed it out often. House is still there, no longer pink, but the cat is long gone.
