One huge energy source that is almost undeveloped is geothermal. The whole world is waking up to that thanks to the demand for battery lithium.

It's hard to assess what a Carrington Event would do nowadays. There are lots of doomsday scenarios, but the telegraph lines of 1859 were primitive installations designed for battery voltages. Electrical distribution in the US is a stew of different jurisdictions, some of which have invested in upgraded protection systems, and some have not. States like California and Texas have derelict electrical utilities that won't upgrade until forced by system failures. Other areas do better. The Quebec outage in 1989 was a wakeup call for the whole NE seaboard. While local utilities may go down, the main distribution lines have been substantially hardened over the last 30 years.
I drove one. That's a nice car, it was just like driving a nice car. Quick, precise acceleration and breaking. Steering was pretty good as well.
How many vehicles can it hold?
Not many is my bet. Our larger ones out here hold over 200 vehicles.
