The government sunk in 43.5 million (NOK) and they can recycle about 24,600 EV car batteries a year. I hope they can produce some income on the batteries they recycle.
A new EV battery recycling plant.

Dosent really matter if some oil money goes in to developing this industry, the government has more than enough money as it is.

Well, we have state capitalism her in Norway, the Norwegian government owns about 1.4 percent of all listed stocks in the world, large investment real estate, even bitcoins. The value of this investment is about 1.4 trillion us dollars and rising, so 5 millions $ is not much to talk about.

Not as far as a country goes, but as an individual goes $5M US is nothing to sneeze at.
