Hi guys I have a kubota l1801dt compact and need to purchase a new battery the old one has no information on it and am not sure what to buy
What @DL Meisen writes is good. What I do is I try to find the biggest battery (CCA number) that physically fits in the existing space. I have found that most tractors and farm stuff has a little more room than what the OEM battery is using. So, taking the size space I can measure, I turn to the Battery Group Size Chart, make sure terminals locations work, and find what can fit. Then I look for that size or sizes that a battery seller has available. My objective is to get the highest CCA so the battery always has more to give than necessary - which correlates directly to battery life for me.... need to purchase a new battery the old one has no information on it and am not sure what to buy
I purchased the biggest battery that fits with 700 cca so tnknks all for your inputYep, I do the same. I shove the largest battery that it will fit in the compartment. Always check to make sure the +/- are on the right sides though...
