Kubota or mahindra

Is there a website or something, where the public audience can check these market shares across all brands for the US market?

I think is there was something like that, it would surprise most people here.
I'd like to see that too.
He has been posting Mfg. market shares of multiple brands for a couple years now and every time I ask where his information is coming from I never get an answer.
I don't know why he can't post where his stats are coming from and how old it is. (wild guessing is my bet)

Which is exactly why I wouldn't touch a Kubota with a ten foot pole. They are the lowest featured, worst designed tractors on the market. The controls are also terrible. And they're expensive. I guess the orange paint mesmerizes people. You can get a lot more tractor for the money elsewhere.
Coming from a guy with a New Holland. LOL

Why not compare the tractors using fact based information instead of emotional attacks on either brand?
It’s like a Ford v. Chevy v. Ram thread

Industry Shift: Kubota’s Pursuit to be a Global Full Liner

There’s little doubt that the major tractor brands are looking over their shoulder at Kubota. The Japanese tractor maker is often credited for fully developing the compact and utility tractor market, which it continues to dominate today. According to UCC filings*, through the first 11 months of 2016 Kubota held a market share of nearly 47% in the tractor ranges up to 80 horsepower. Deere was a distant second with 19%.

Sometimes it makes sense to look at how the rest of the manufacturing compares.

I admit to not knowing much about Mahindra or Indian exports, but we all know about Japanese quality. Just look at their cars, trucks, electronics, surgical instruments, optical stuff, space exploration, metallurgy, firearms - even their fishing gear is tops - it's kind of embarrassing.
Kubota might not always get it right, but I like the odds.
Yep, would you buy a car made in India? Of course not

Maybe you have better luck than me doing that. Turns out that must be a secret or something. I have yet to figure exactly where those 50% that Jeff keeps saying come from.

I bet once you go above 80 pto horsepower, the ration quickly changes to JD.

Probably, but this a Compact Tractor Forum. I like Kubota and I like John Deere. Kubota and Yanmar invented/created the CUT market in the US. Deere saw thegrowing market and ~rebadged Yanmars for many years rather than designing their own. Kubota committed to CUT s and it shows in their US market share.
