Spreader New 8’ drop spreader for lime

I’ve been looking for a good 8’ spreader for over a year. This morning, I learned about this one and by 3 pm I was on my way home with it. All 8 zerks took grease and the inside is almost rust free. Exactly what I hoped to find.

My only question is, what is it? It has a ‘Sears, Roebuck, & company’ badge with a model number (716.88) that turned up zero in an internet search.

is it a re-branded Ezee Flow? Something else? Any idea of age or where I could source an owners manual?

Well, it certainly wasn’t one of those crazy deals you sometimes see people talking about in forums. The owner knew what he had and I’m fine with that because it’ll save me quite a bit of money within the first couple of years. Plus I have enough stuff to fix already and really wanted this to not be on the list.
After more research, I’m about 95% sure it’s a New Idea model….which became Agco…..badged by SR&co. Still haven’t figured out the model # or age but that’s ok too because I’m Just going to treat it like the last owner. Grease 8 zerks, rinse well with water, and coat it in drain oil after each use. Stored outside covered.
