I think this speaks to the vaxxed/non vaxxed question raised

From the article: "The purpose of this study is to identify associations between COVID-19 infections, hospitalizations, and deaths among Medicare fee-for-service (FFS) beneficiaries and the proportion of the population fully vaccinated at the county-level between January and May 2021. We do so by using a combination of person-level Medicare FFS claims and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) data on county-level vaccination rates. Based on these results, we then estimated the net reduction in infections, hospitalizations, and deaths among all 62.7 million Medicare beneficiaries associated with the first 5 months of the U.S.’s COVID-19 vaccine roll-out. Our results indicate that COVID-19 vaccinations from January until May 2021 were associated with an estimated reduction of more than 265,000 COVID-19 infections and nearly 39,000 deaths among Medicare beneficiaries.

Is this supposed to be good? 265,000 infections in 5 months in Vaxxed Medicare patients only? And 39,000 deaths? Or that is their guesstimate of the reduction????

Why can't we get simple, clear concise, accurate data for
1) "How many new CV cases during Jan-May 2021?" and after to date?
2) "of those new cases, how many were vaxxed and how many were not?"
3) "How many died from CV that were vaxxed?"
4) "How many died from CV who were not vaxxed?"

This is the MedCram video I pointed out to you earlier this week:

I think it explains fairly well why the information isn't available; it's not being collected.

My sisters county in Ohio near Rich, reports 22 current COVID cases, 3 in icu, one of 3 is vaccinated. They didn’t list how many of the other 19 were vaccinated.
Maryland’s numbers are not too bad, seem to be trending back down. My county only reports total number that had it, not how many are active, and no breakdown of vac vs nonvac. I don’t think they want to reveal the true picture, doesn’t fit their narrative.
My county had 27 new cases reported today, out of 270,000 people.

I just deleted a long reply I typed about the current cases in my circle of friends, co-workers, and acquaintance. It isn’t pretty and likely too controversial. So it is gone…..

The delivery went ok. Made great time getting there, they were just unloading the machine when we arrived. Mostly a boring day doing the PDI. I had to do the MSHA training for the mine personnel for new equipment. Mine manager was even civil. It went to work and was time to head home.

Figured how to bring the bike to life. Already made some changes to the shift linkage but more are needed. My standards for how things should be on a race bike kicked in and work needs to be done. Found out the guy I help is racing the Hooligans support class at Charlotte this weekend.

Everyone stay safe out there

65F and partly cloudy @ 20:45, headed down to 59F overnight.

High hit 78.4F today ... was beautiful outside ... (y)

Used Kubota to juggle the pallets around in the barn and got the Cub out first thing.

Woman came out while I was working on the Kubota and worked on cleaning up garage, She got quite a bit done.

Well into the 2400 hour service at this point:

Engine oil and filter changed.

Hydraulic fluid drained and filters changed. Still have to put the strainer and drain plugs back in and refill with that fine TSC Traveller Premium Hydraulic Fluid. Strainer was pretty clean except for a couple of small pieces of what looked like wire. Don't know ... might have come from a failing hose.

Air cleaner housing removed, cleaned (it had a little something in the bottom of the housing that looked/felt like tar), put back together, and a clean outer element installed. Gasket for the lid appears a little dicey, will call tomorrow and see if they have that in stock. If not may have them order one.

Fan belt tension checked.

Anti-freeze condition checked, said good to -20F. Might go ahead and do a flush and fill and change it out at some point in the coming days.

Used new pin to drive out the one in the loader that wasn't taking grease. Unfortunately the new pin I grabbed was too short for that location, so I cleaned the old one up (it definitely has some wear) and stuck it back in there for the time being. Discovered that the grease fitting was where the problem actually was, removed it and used a pick/probe and some carb cleaner + PB B'laster to dig out the dried up grease then used the grease fitting impact/cleaning tool to clear it out to where the juice was actually flowing through it. Just need to throw some grease on it tomorrow and it should be good to go for the time being.

Still have few more items to do (change gear oil in front axle, grease everything, adjust clutch and brake pedals, etc.) to complete the service.

Also have two hard lines and hose to replace as well on the loader tomorrow. There's also another hose I had made up at NAPA a few years ago that's starting to leak, might run down there have them make up another one ... if they have the better quality hose in stock.

Plants from Amazon due in tomorrow via UPS (two days early)

Hope everyone had a great day ... (y)

I don't know that this necessarily answers all the questions you pose, but perhaps it might provide some insights:

Texas has seen nearly 9,000 COVID-19 deaths since February. All but 43 were unvaccinated people.

It would seem to lend some credence to the point that RNG raised: the reason why some statistical data isn't available is because it isn't being collected.
