I've got an L5740, and There's 2 green wire harnesess under my seat. Both appear to be powered 12v when the key is on. What are these for?
What are they fused at?

I'm looking to add an LED lightbar to my ROPS, and wasn't sure if I could just use one of these, and switch it for my lights - or if there are better options.

Thanks

I'm not sure if it's the same on your L5740 but on my L6060, that green connector is for the air ride seat. It's fused at 10 amps.

Put a volt meter on the plug and start pulling fuses until you lose power. Check the size of the fuse. The fuse panel may also be marked.

On many Kubota models, there is a green wire under the right rear fender for an optional work light. It's usually fused at 5 amps but I've seen some at 10 amps. That's what I used for my ROPS lights.

Thanks. No air ride here! but would make sense for cab models sharing the same bottom. I didn't find any work light wiring under either fender - just wiring for the turn/hazard lights, and the rear tail lights. I'll check again on that right side to triple check.

FWIW, on my L6060 and MX5800, that green wire is tucked into the wiring harness for the hazzard lights and difficult to see.

Both of these are indeed the "work lights" as they are connected to the work light fuse.

Thanks tsmithco as I also have a L-5040 and was putting some led's under my canopy for both the front as well as rear facing with a rear work light. My L-2900 had the wire by the right rear for the work light but unless the wire is buried in the right rear loom on our L-5040's then I'm not looking forward to ripping the loom apart in search of ! Thanks for the request as it helped me as well.
