I have been looking around for lubricants since I bought my Kioti DS3510. The Shell Donax TD was one of the ones listed in the owners manual. This has now been superceded by Shell Spirax MD. Found both in local Wally World and sat on floor and read the 5 gl cans.
I will be using Shell Rotella 15W40 which is specified in the engine. I have plenty as I use it in my 7.3 powerstroke.

I hope the Transmission oil info will help someone out...

I had just bought some recently and was told they are now calling it spirax but the sales person didn't tell me the "MD". Thanks.

I goofed in my original post about the Spirax fluid. Below is the corrected form and some other equivilant fluid to the DAEDONG UTF55 Transmission Fluid.

Exxonmobilfluid 424
BP Tractran UTH
Exxonmobil Hydraulic 560
Shell Donax TD Donax is still avail till stocks gone.
Shell Spirax S4 TXM (replaces Donax TD)
Castrol Agri Multi Trans

I will add to this as I find them.

Too bad we can not use the new tranny oil now sold at tractor supply much cheaper. I was told by the dealer (sells new holland and Kioti) that the ford oil was OK I am sticking with one of the recommended oils for mine.

My local TSC store had the Shell Spirax on for $53 a pail before Christmas and then Canadian tire had Rotella 5W40 syn on sale a couple weeks later for $25 for 5L.
Personally I won't be buying store or "off" brand oils for my tractor, I think most are fine, but I don't know which are not, and I don't think they have the QC that a major brand needs to protect its reputation.
Shell or Valvoline or Castrol not meeting API specs on the bottle might make it onto the news on a slow day, Joe's Real Cheap Oil won't.
So if you buy when the oil is on sale, I think you can get big name quality at off brand prices.

Go with the Shell products. Best thing you can do for your tractor. Like IndyIan, I buy mine when it goes on sale.

zombie thread - but figure i'd post here before creating a new one

what is everyone using now - I agree with OP, i'd like to use what the manual specifies. However, i can't find ANYTHING from that list**

well, i can see a couple vendors at > $150/5-gallon for the MobilFluid424 ... hoping for at least close to $100/5-gal ~ $20/gal

Tractor Supply has Mobil Delvac for 60 bucks a pail. It's the same exact fluid as the 424.
