How to fill oil on kohler command ch670

How do you fill up the oil on a kohler command ch670 fill hole?

With your favorite funnel of course! Some applications I know that it can be cumbersome to do so. I felt that if actually owned one, that I would make something that would stay upright in the hole when you poured into it.

Would you fill it through the valve cover?

If it's a vertical twin Kohler engine, there should be a yellow oil fill cap on one of the valve covers.

If it's a horizontal twin Kohler engine, there should be a yellow oil fill cap on a fill tube.

2422702s is the part number for the cap. You could get an extra cap and adapt a funnel to it so you wouldn't have to sit there and hold it.
