Maybe he's prepping to take on bigger site work jobs. I know a few companies around his/my area that have large equipment like this, off road Volvo articulating dump trucks and 988 (or similar) loaders In fact one recently closed up shop and there was a huge machinery auction. If the link is still up I will look to see if any of the equipment matches up & report back. Maybe he needs business expenses to write off the YouTube money before tax time, who knows? Maybe he's like me and fulfilling his childhood dreams of owning some of this stuff. I bought an old dozer this summer, mostly because I have work for it, ahh who am I kidding, I bought it because I wanted it!!

I get something out of most of his videos. Sometimes it’s how to do something. Sometimes it’s how not to do something. Sometimes it’s just a good laugh or two or shaking my head in disbelief.

At the end of the day he seems to be making his deal work for him.

He is perhaps one of the more talented "hammer mechanics" that I have observed.
Dave Kindig would be impressed with that bitchin' gap that he achieved on the tailgate!

I don’t know why so many people hate on his equipment repairs. I don’t know of anyone working on old and tired equipment that does any better. There’s lots of people working with brand new equipment that does worse repairs.

...anyone working on old and tired equipment...
Someone asked about my equipment??? It's been dead for a while :giggle: Wish someone would work on it ;)

I've taken his approach and drilled and bolted my riding lawn mower hood back together. And wondered why I didn't do that before!?!

Believe me when I say if my new radio doesn't fit... first thing I'm reaching for is my chainsaw!!!

I do whatever I need to do to get things done at work... he just does it to the extreme. As long as it works (or gets repaired) WTH.

He does excavation work. How much is debatable. I think his main source of income is messing around on his land and making videos about it.
I've heard that the only work he takes on now is for it's YT value. Have no idea if it's true.

Also, keep in mind in addition to all the new equipment, he recently bought another piece of property, apparently for snowmobiling. That's the property where he drags the Army truck and RV up the muddy road.

I really enjoy his videos but when I saw him push that car off the hill just to smash it up, I knew he was into the click bait mode.
I don't care, still fun to watch.
Except I sure wish he would learn to put his seat belt on when working on those hills.
My BIL, lifelong excavator, rolled his dozer on a hill, thankfully slowly and he spent almost 8 months getting his shoulder repaired after
behaving like a lapidary stone inside that cab. I think the ground gave way under him.

It can’t be click bait when it happens at the end of the video without mentioning it before. His video did exactly what he said was going to happen in the video. And you’re underestimating how many people would push the car off just for fun with nobody watching.

If I had his property and semi-unlimited funds, I would probably also crash some cars off a cliff. I didn't take it as any click bait either, he didn't highlight or promote it at all. Just a little extra clip of fun.

He probably ended up with the car for free because it wouldn’t pass state inspection. I’m sure he didn’t spend much if any money to crash it.
