It's being classified as 'historic'.
No tornados here, thankfully
Got some ice then a few inches of snow. Big winds too. Power went out like 5 times but came back on real quick. I'll take this over the tornadoes... I'm sorry for the devestation and loss of life last night.

Thank goodness you survived!
Looking at the images it's devastation is as bad or worse as any storm ever seen.
I don't imagine the areas that were hit directly will see power for a while.
Thoughts go out to the injured and rescue teams.

Yes, I have seen lots of news coverage, Youtube videos and FB posts. Just saw on TV that the president says he is coming to Ky. We were Blessed to have no loss of life in Hart County. Lots of property damage though with some within 1/4 mile of my home. Ken Sweet

Daughter and son-in-law have been in town since before daylight. Her insurance company holds the policies for the city and county plus most of the businesses plus all those 150 year old churches that were destroyed. He is the CIO of the large bank across from the courthouse. In some pictures you can see his desk hanging out what’s left of second story. She just picked up kids and went home. He is pulling an all-nighter trying to get systems up and running so they can open some locations tomorrow.
