Lisa calls them hotcakes. I call them pancakes and think it's the most common term in my area. What do you call them?

Here in Aus, if they're small, they're called "pikelets".

Cooked different and with sometimes same ingredients you can also call them a ' waffle ' . BTW don't forget Arnold ate them too (pancakes) , sometimes even in his birthday suit in bed . Which is more than we can say about Oliver !

Same basic ingredients - but as you say, 'cooked differently'. A waffle ain't a waffle unless it is made on a hot iron with the square internal grid design. Result is way better for holding the meat & gravy, or sweet adornments.
