Perhaps that is so simple you missed my point?

What Tesla says is 80% SOC is not necessarily what Nissan says it is, is not necessarily what Rivan says it is. There is no unified standard, spec, or agreement. Each implementer defines 100% at a level they are comfortable staking their reputation. At odds for more range with smaller battery or longer life?
I take it you are one of those guys who throws the owner's manual in the trash as soon as you buy a car?

The manufacturer defines it. Ignore the "experts" and believe the engineers who built the thing.

Boo hoo hoo. A Tesla Model Y in Camp Mode (look it up) consumes about 1 kWh per hour. Or about 4 miles of range per hour.

Nothing better to be stuck 24 hours on interstate in a snow storm than a Tesla.

I guess it is boo hoo hoo after nine hours, then it's call a tow truck or carry a generator with extra gas.

Quantum entanglement is a fascinating topic and really makes you wonder how this universe actually works, not to mention how limiting it is to try to define it in physical terms we understand today. It's no wonder we've historically attributed so much of the workings of the world to supernatural beings and what is essentially magic. I also find the human perception of 'reality' to be equally fascinating. Science has proven that what you think is reality is nothing of the sort, it's just a fabrication of your mind where the universe you think you live in is unique to you and you alone. Not that the two topics are related of course but who knows. I'm not sold on the matrix theory although it's not as wacky as it sounds, and even if it was true it would only create more questions.
Sean Carroll, well know physicist, has a youtube channel you might be interested in.

I think he is saying it is harder to get an emergency 5 gallon can of electricity than gasoline.
Don't you think that might change? Tow truck shows up with some type of emergency charge type thingy...

But there is nothing now. Unless there is a good demand for it why would it change in the future.

Like this: Blink Mobile EV Charging Station : Blink Charging
or this: Electric Vehicle Mobile Charging | SparkCharge

There's also vehicle to vehicle charging, like this: 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning Offers Available V2V Charging

Running out of battery is/will be no different than running out of gas regardless of the scenario. Maybe your buddy comes and does v2v charging or you call roadside assistance and they give you enough to get home or to a station. I imagine batteries will eventually become so dense you can pack 50 miles into something the size of a briefcase and just keep it on your trunk, much like people do with portable power banks for their phones today.

Don't think a tow truck driver would want to stick around for a couple hours...

This country may be ready for hybrids, not ready for fully EVs
