Thanks for the replies everyone. It was quite warm last I tried to start it, probably in the high 60s. I only remember this because I was mowing the grass the same day. It has been on a battery maintainer(its mounted to the motor cage/cover) it's whole life and starter sounds very strong. I like the idea of just posting it for sale needing a new motor or motor work. I doubt there is anything wrong with the pumps or wheel motors, the only complaint I ever heard, which has been repeated here, is the cold start problems and it running very rough when it was running. I think I said elsewhere in this thread he always thought it needed a new motor and he was looking to swap with FI Robbin. When I'm out to visit my mother I don't want or need to be tinkering with a machine she wont use. It will be a few months before I am out that way again so when I do get out there I will get some good pics and post up for sale here first before trying locally.
I didn't get a lot of seat time on this machine, I believe my dad bought it around early 2000s so I would have been a teenager who couldn't care less. As an adult with my own tractor, I can appreciate what a cool piece of equipment it is and how much easier it made his life at the time. I could certainly use it at my place with all the great implements but we cant really store all the toys we already have.
