Yanmar YM2200 Cylinder Head Cracked

I have a Yanmar YM2200 with a cracked Cylinder Head. Replacements seem to be difficult/impossible to find. If someone has a solid used one please contact me. Has anyone had any success with having these welded, or would I just be throwing money away? Thanks

Iowa Park Texas usually has them in the 700-1000 $ range. Those were prone to cracking. New heads are improved.

ASAP has a used on in good condition with 1-year warranty. $531 -$200 core, 2year warranty for $54 more.

The 2TR22 and 2TR27 are rare engines in the Yanmar line up. Got to keep them cool running and not to exceed the RPMs whilst under load. 10W30 engine oil too, not the 15W40.

The old school shop I use pins the cracks, they do not weld. It is possible to repair many of these heads.

The crack in the head of my old JD850 ran right thru one of the valve seats. pin or welding would not repair it. I was really bummed about that.
