Faulty Spray cans increasing ?

Yes the new cans suck,

I have switched to airless sprayer for most paint purposes. Paints now are mostly waterbase so cleanup is easy.
Also at the price of cans it just makes sense.

I promise I'm not nit picking,did you mean hvlp? I have all 3 types sprayers (all of them ancient). I love hvlp and have about worn mine out and been thinking about new airless advertised to handle fine spay jobs.

My wife has used these inhalers most of her life and for the last dozen years or so she has had to rinse the dispensers in hot water after just a few uses to unclog them.

That explains the short life on my inhalers. Thanks!

Rinse the dispenser in hot water. There is plenty still in them, they are just clogged.

As I age, I find the.number of spray cans that stop spraying, ( clog ?) Is increasing . Whether it be spray chain lube, or spray paint, or spray.multi use grease, Wd40 .
....etc etc.. The spray paints I use the " turn upside down and spray" before putting half can away, but usually a few months later you will get 30 seconds out of can and be done....throw can away one third paint still in.. but most frustrating is Wd40 or chain lube spray cans. No tricks work it seems, tried soaking nozzles in varsol , shake them well...... ....are these being made made cheaper than before ? Any tricks ? Yes I have a heated garage that never gets below 50 degrees farenheit.

Funny you mentioned this. Just yesterday I pulled a wd40 can off shelf about half full. Gave it a shack and tried to spray. Nothing WTH? I thought about this in the past and decided to try and fill with air. I used an air nozzle and got enough air into the can to spray. I need to get one with a rubber tip though.

I agree. Also get much better control over the output stream, from a drip to a spray.

I have problems with the nozzles on PB Blaster breaking off. I have several cans with lubricant in them that I can not use because of this. I haven't had the same problem with WD-40.

You can also get new nozzles, although that doesn't help when out of pressure.
