Good thing Wally knows to cross on the narrow bridge. Our dogs English Cocker Spaniels would cross through the creek instead of using the bridge. Water was only a few inches deep, but. Oh well. Arly you definately have more snow than we do. Enjoy it. Jon

ArlyA our golden would have gone thru the creek then walked back across the bridge. She crossed the golden bridge several years ago

Thanks for the picts! Reminds me of the fun on ski's and my dog running behind, up ahead, over to the left, over to the right and back onto the back of my ski's. I think he thought it pretty funny to sneak up and anchor my skis from the back. :) I'd do five miles and he would do fifteen. I'd come up and out of a small canyon and see him a couple miles away, hopping thru the snow.

I had composite wood skis from Finland and when the wax was right, the glide was perfect. I'd start the season, by scraping the old wax off and laying down a new coat of tar, then smooth it off. There were non was skis around, but only for 5 or so years and i tried most of them, but couldn't get the glide my wood skis had. I'd bet now there are some very good non wax skis available.

Skis still need and use wax. They all do. People still use wood skis too.
