I've aquired this beast recently but don't know much about it. Mostly it's similar to my late M35x, which has M135 engine

It seems to only have 4 gears, ie 1 and 2, in high and low ranges - I am ssuming it should have more...?

The gearbox is the hydrostatic type with no clutch, so a forward and reverse pedal.

.Also - could anyone tell my what this lever does, the lever by the gearbox dip stick - dead centre of photo, under hand brake rod

Also - if anyone has had the interest to read this far, the power steering doesn't work, any ideas what to look for or check would be much appreciated

Many Thanks

Does it change the flow rate of the hydraulics?

It took me about 30 seconds to find this link for a manual (probably not free):

There should be others out there...

Lever is for the 3pt response.

Power steering pump (if like the ag tractors) should be on right side of engine and have it's own fill port (separate oil system) Check oil level by removing fill cap.
