Thomas, my Wife showed me a video about a week ago of a bear somewhere standing up and moving wind chimes just over his head, over and over, like he liked it.

We just had a large granite counter top installed in our new kitchen. Two joins. Guys were very fussy. Special adhesive they mixed on the spot. About a 1 mm gap. They colored it to suit as they mixed it. No pins. It is rock hard and barely visible. I might put a pic up of the join later as I have a fair bit on today. Neighbour is coming to help me get the tractor unbogged later. Hope he doesn't get stuck too but we have lots of chain. Counter top is called Isa Rose. It is from Mount Isa in Queensland. That was discussed at granite store with tech,he strongly felt epoxy would weaken couple of years because of the cold weather and bump with plow etc. post would be laying on ground.

Govt is talking dropping/reducing the sales tax on fuel to keep prices down a bit. Needs to happen soon.

27F clear sky clouds increasing late afternoon low 40's for high.

The huts have a platform to place sleeping bags and a few have fireplace. Someone rigged a forked branch to dry socks in the corner. The NPS placed a log book. The shelter is totally open on one side, and someone dragged a picnic table in, probably to get out of the rain. There is also a few tent camping places, and a spring .3 mile down the mountain for water.
