kb 1550 backhoe

I recently purchased an lk3054 with kl128 and kb1550 backhoe. The hydraulics are noticably slower now that the weather is warm (60's) vs sub zero when i bought it. The stabilizers now have to think about picking up the rear of the tractor and two functions at once are now out of the question. I am planning on changing the fluid as it has a self contained resivoir and pump, but i cant find the fluid capacity anywhere, or what fluid i should be using in it

Thank you, but now for the next question. Now that I know what type of fluid it takes, someone has regular hydraulic oil in it (based on the smell) do i meed to flush the system or is draining it enough to get the wrong oil out

I would retract what cylinders could be retracted, drain and refill. The little amount left will dilute with the oil....

Hi, new to this forum. First time owner and I have a related question.
I have a Kioti LK 2554 with a KB 1440 self contained pump and tank. My manual shows fluid to be 10w40 API SD rated engine oil. I can’t find it here and would be grateful for a link to locate this or an acceptable replacement. Not trying to go cheap, I would like a quality oil.

I use Amsoil synthetic 10w40 in most for my equipment (gas/diesel) and it should be excellent for your application. The API ratings are backwards compatible (SD is obsolete)so meets/exceeds your specs. Shipped right to my door easy peasy... Link below.
