Good morning!!!!

I can't find any family members who want to take over weed eating. Maybe I might get one of those shoulder harnesses to help take the weight off of my arms. It takes almost as long to weed eat everything as it does to mow.
.

I just don’t weed eat very often. I dislike doing it. I try to get everything with the mower.

Saw a few critters back in the woods when I took the mower back there to check things out.

Mowed the front and behind barn where it was tallest. Mowed a little along creek.

Forsythia pretty much done. Redbuds starting to show.

Thomas, his and her mailboxes?

My flat got fixed today. It was the air/water valve, $10.oo + service call $95.oo + mileage $168.oo. =$275.oo I paid him and gave a $10.oo tip for lunch. He was happy and so am I.
tomorrow I can start moving snow.
There is supposed to be a big storm coming from Winnipeg, Manitoba and headed this way. Anywhere up to a foot and a half, IF it comes as snow. I just checked the NOAA site and it is a Colorado low that may or may not affect me. If I get it then I've got the equipment to handle it.

Good morning all. 3.4C this a.m. before the sun came up then rapidly up to a present 18.2C. I've been busy over the past couple of days (a Federal election has been called for the 21st of May) putting up candidate signage... fortunately the weather has cooperated. Sunday was a low of 17C/high of 22C, yesterday was a low of 8C/high of 19C. Gentle wind and no rain both days. Typical mid-Autumn variation.

Just a 'puttering around the property' day.

Kyle_in_Tex, definitely go with a shoulder harness. An old golf-bag strap will work. I quickly up-graded to a chest harness and wide (bicycle?) handle grips on my Stihl weed-whacker... easier on the body and no debilitating vibrations on my hands.

Take care all.

Good evening all. San Antonio ride was really a race, after looking at results for my age group most of them came to race! Temp went from 60ºF to 91ºF, overcast morning to partly cloudy afternoon. Had two friends to ride with and we just rode, not raced, however the older one swept both jerseys and his age group. Drive hope had traffic at same spots, :( got home at 11PM. Today 68ºF for the start, overcast sky, light breeze. moderate wind with brisk gusts, Sky clear sone and high temp was 86ºF, DP61ºF.    / Good morning!!!! #148,456
good morning all
damp morning but then clearing for three very warm days, 72 today, low 80's next two days.
no plans for today other than dealership bringing my car back.
Mowed the lawn yesterday afternoon, might do a little weedeating this afternoon, too soon for lawn service to show up who will continue to do
weedeating for me.

Might be a good day to go get a flat of pansies. Always room for some more color, though not deer resistant

I'd like to get a coat of wax on the Volvo, maybe half this afternoon and half tomorrow. They slap some shiny prep sealer on car that looks shiny for about two weeks and that's it.
I'd prefer to clay the car first but that is more exercise than my arms and wrists will take. Trying some "butter wax" this time, a carnauba variant.

nice pics Mostly. I am in awe of you guys in such good physical shape.

Good morning, low temp 29 and high to 55°F. Wind calm. Sunny!

It is time to move a couple of snow piles to the middle of the driveway, spread them out and let them melt.

Other than that I have nothing to do.

Have a safe day all

I have a shoulder harness for mine, Kyle. It makes a HUGE difference. You'll definitely thank yourself for buying one.
same! Mine is an EGO brand which was on sale when I replaced my string trimmer a year or so ago. Easier when actually trimming and much easier when walking from place to place
Roy hope you got the dump run in, bet it was nice to have help.
I didn't get the help, but my stepdaughter combined bags (not of which were full), so it went from 7 bags to 4. At $5 per bag (dump charge), that's a worthwhile savings. I always tell 'em, don't tie the bags shut until I'm ready for the dump run
