Tractor
Kubota MX5400 HST, heavy duty bucket, 3rd function, R1 tires (rears filled), 2 remotes
Out on my 2021 MX5400 in my woods cutting brush and had a small stick come up underneath and shear off all the fan blades.

I'm within my 2 year Kubota warranty but I would be surprised if that covers it.

I'm pretty sure my home insurance will cover it but will see where the repairs goes with costs.

A fan is isn’t that expensive. Unless the radiator is damaged as well I’d pay out of pocket and go on.

It's replacing it that I'm more concerned about. I need to do a more detailed inspection to make sure nothing else is damaged.

Yep, 4570 is right. Also, the Homeowners Ins probably has a deductible on it 20 times the size of the price of that fan.

My deductible for the homeowners insurance for the tractor is $250. I had a truck repaired under home insurance because an animal camped out in my fan shroud and destroyed my fan blade and radiator. Equipment works different than house damage under my home owners policy.

I hear you. I'll rephrase my comment: Yep, 4570 is right. Also, the Homeowners Ins probably has a deductible on it 10 times the size of what that fan SHOULD cost. Surely to H that fan is not over $250. I suppose labor can be claimed too so it might be close.

$189 on the Messick’s website or an aftermarket in the $50-100 range.

I found the part for a MX5200 HST. Monday I will call dealer to see if that will fit my MX5400 HST.

Anyone have a workshop manual that would show how to access the coolant fan?

Took tractor in last Friday. Estimate is $400 to replace fan blade.
Not filing under homeowners insurance unless repairs are greater than $800
