I got sick of the L-o-n-g pour of a five-gallon can. I use those no-spill cans, The venting is slow
I got these hoping they'd help , they were easy enough to install
They are indeed a great product. I use them to vent water jugs. I usually get them with the retainer strap to keep from loosing the cap:

I was looking at those and realized I'd just break that tiny strip of plastic. I may try to pull the gasket and solder something to the cap to let me attach something sturdier like a bit of fine steel cable. They are just valve stem covers

I have a 50 gal cube and 120v pump from Tractor Supply. I just filled up my Silverado and bought 30 gal of diesel for my tractors for $258. I empty my 6 5 gal fuel cans into my cube for easy filling of my tractors. The last 30 gal lasted me 8 months, that can vary by snow fall or tractor work. 3 of my diesel cans are no-spill and I have arthritis in my hands so I use a vice grip C-clamp to hold the button down.

I don't haul my cube to the station, because it's not bolted down and more trouble than it's worth. The main accident up in my neck of the woods is someone pulling out in front of someone on the highway. My gas station is 20 miles away.

Check with local fuel suppliers. If you live in farm country, many will deliver ORD, although 50 gal might not meet the minimum.

I've been using ULS home heating oil in my tractors for over 40 years. I filter it well and pump it directly from my 1000 gal storage tank.
