Huh? What does that have to do with tax dollars?
Sorry. I meant since I am a public servant, sharing knowledge is my job. Since the federal government got involved in education, some of everyone's tax dollars pays my salary. I don't take that trust lightly.

I thought you were talking about xeriscaping.

Is that tax dollars or reduced costs for the municipal water system?

Our town did the same thing in 2012. Following the money took us to a federal grant. Tax money.

I used the term. Raul saw it as a new term to look up. I shared knowledge of the term. He and maybe some others learned something. I learn a lot here. Anything I can do to give back.

This is my first house in Vegas. First thing we did (1990) was put in sod. Neighbors literally cheered. Now, it and most of the neighborhood is xeriscaped.

It seem odd that areas with water piped to distant locals could be under mandatory rationing and the destination not.

This happened between Northern and Southern CA.

I have lots of friend that moved to AZ and to NV… some are building now.

Have not brought up water.

One friend moved to TX… nice little home but all water for subdivision trucked in.

They were all happy to leave CA so I doubt any returning.

One of the many reasons I like Western WA is abundant water!

As to water bills… just opened the water bill for Tahoe cabin… quarterly statement $310 for 6,660 gallons and Lake Tahoe is one of the largest repositories of fresh water in the West…

Ouch! That's high priced water. I guess I should stop complaining about the $.0276 per gallon I pay.
