Hello Everyone,

I am glad I found this place. Plenty of great info.

To get one thing out of the way.... Yes, I am stupid. :)

The cotter pin that secures the big pin that connects the lift arm to the lower arm came out. That allowed the lower arm to drop to the ground. Not a huge problem.... Until I backed over it....

Here are some pics of the damage:

Ouch, may want to be sitting down when you price out the pin at the front. It's the draft sensor.

Hey...you just added some "character" to your tractor. I have several of those of various origins on mine. ;)

I feel pretty good about putting it back together except for one (BIG) item.

The shaft that the forward end of the lower bar pivots on sheared off. I know that shaft plays a part in some of the fancy functions that I don't currently use.

Splitting the case to replace the shaft looks like it would be a big project. Definitely beyond my skillset.

Could I fab a new "pivot" for the lower arm and run with it? Or will the sensors and computer get unhappy and refuse to play along?

I wouldn't even worry about the draft sensor.
Getting the other bolt pieces out and praying that the case isn't cracked.

As long as the hitch is still moving up & down, yes. Should only affect draft function. Only had that happen on one & that was years ago. They just bought the part since they used a mounted plow on it. Similar situation as you and it didn't crack the case. YMMV. Edited to add, that is a blind hole. Doesn't go all the way through the case.

Here is an exploded view of your lift arms;

part #13 is a bolt M16x120 so almost a 5/8 x 5"long bolt,
then they are calling #71 the draft sensor which looks to be the pin that locates the lift arm.

THANK YOU!!!

The advice and the parts diagram are both appreciated.

It looks to me like I may be able to replace the broken shaft Without major disassembley.

Yes, #71 is the broken shaft I am referring to.
