Arly - is that a typo? you said in a post above 23.5 mpgs. Either way, not bad for a mid-size 4x4.

I see the GM mid size trucks are new for 2023 and using a similar powertrain to complete with the Ranger. I hope they get mid 20's for mileage.
No, that was its mileage. Today I got 25.3 in my 20 mile commute.

I don't do quite as well as Arly does but in my biweekly trip to northern Wisconsin of about 240 miles each way gives me about 23 mpg. My normal route is about 2/3 two lane and 1/3 four lane so overal I think its pretty good. Now, if I pull my small utility trailer or two place snowmobile trailer the mpg drops to around 15. But still decent in my opinion.

I haven't had any problems in 45,000 miles other than the annoying cooling fan noise when you first start up and recent dash rattle that sometimes drives me crazy. I think I discovered the source of the rattle and I can make it go away if I push a small rag between the dash and the windshield. I use a black rag and its hardly noticeable. I've never had much luck getting the dealerships to help with rattles and squeaks over my lifetime as they always they don't hear them. But since I hate them so much the small rag works just fine.

This "little" truck is still one of the nicer vehicles we have ever purchased. Good fuel mileage, comfortable to drive and still has 275hp for towing junk. 😁

Do you know what your average mpg over a longer distance is (say 500 or 1000 miles) and what your average speed over the same distance is? Gallons used verified by fuel pump readings?

I'm not at all **** about fuel mileage. When it was near new, I checked its actual fuel mileage to what the computer stated it was and it was quite close.

My 2021 Ranger surprised me last Monday. I had to drive from home (near Toowoomba) to Redbank Plains to pick up my stepson and 2 grandkids then carried on through Brisbane to Hervey Bay to drop the kids off. We drove around Hervey Bay and headed back to Brisbane and home on one tank of fuel. The fuel warning said 88 klm left just before I got home to Grantham.
It averaged 8.1 litres per 100 klm. over the distance of over 800 klm. Better than what Ford claim. That is 35 MPG. At worst going through Brisbane it was 8.5 litres per 100 klm. (about 31 MPG)
I was quite amazed and this is one truck I will not part with. We did encounter some stop start with 6 lots of roadworks on the way. First decent drive I have had. Normal use around home is about 10.9 klm per litre. 27.5 MPG.
Average speed on highway was about 105 kph. At times up to 120 kph.
Nice trailer ArlyA. Wouldn't mind that myself.

My nephew finally picked up his new Ranger Tremor yesterday. Waiting since March
I got to test drive it. Very peppy turbo engine and a very nice interior. Excellent on center driving feel. Exceptionally quiet for an intermediate sized truck.
I Like it

If he gets the mileage posted above he will be very happy.

Yes, we really do have mountains in the upper peninsula of MI.
We're you high when you typed this? :)

The highest point in the whole state is less than 2000 ft. Michigan's most prominent point is only about 1000 ft..about 1/3 of SD most prominent and it is in the Lower Penninsula.

Even my home area of NE SD has higher elevations. Punished Woman's Mound is 2077 ft....we don't even call it a hill.
