As of 01/01/2020 new residential construction and multi-family under 3 stories are required to have solar systems. The size of the equipped system will be determined by the ability to offset 100% of the home’s electricity usage. The cost is added into the price or a new home.Fuel is down especially at the high volume stations… down 60 cents a gallon to 5.37
Rooftop solar is too popular in CA with a million installs so far… so much so there is a equity push to add a monthly $50-60 infrastructure fee and sharpen the period of time before full implementation as early adopters promised 20 years.
