New Holland - Is it a TC40DA or a TC40 A

The label on my tractor says it is a TC40A. When the serial number is inserted on the New Holland Website - it comes up as a TC40DA. I need to know the difference between the 2 so that I can identify which one my tractor is. I called their support - couldn't help. There is a separate manual for TC40A and TC40DA.

A little more info please.

The D is for deluxe. Rubber floor mats, hydrostat drive etc.

If you have a gear transmission it's a TC40A. If it's a Hydro drive it's a DA.

I just had this same experience at a local dealer. Badge on frame says TC40A, sticker on hood says TC40a. Parts person insisted it is a DA based on s/n, even though it is a manual/shuttle transmission and by no means "deluxe". Seems there something awry with NH database. Could get interesting when buying parts unique to one v. other.

Post a picture of it as there a year differences too. The headlights are a good indication of the year.

Mine says tc40S on the sticker and has gear drive trans. What's the difference in the S or A?
