I think if you look, there'll be a grade under that water spout. It's a siding up on a little step above the line with the trucks on it. It's on a different grade. That's my guess.

What was the purpose of keeping it in a building like that? Heated to keep from freezing maybe?

That was my initial thought, but I didn't see a chimney. Maybe if fell over.

Big derailment near downtown Sandusky, Ohio yesterday. In the Toledo Blade on the front page. Mainline N&W double track, about 12-15 tank cars carrying hot paraffin wax, two flipped off the bridge and landed on the roadway below and ruptured, sending hot wax down the road. Everything heading east toward Cleveland or west towards Chicago has been rerouted through Bellview, Ohio Lots of torn up track ands looks like the bridge is damaged as well. I imagine Hulker out of south Toledo (Meigs Field) is handling it.

No pictures from me but I'm sure it's on the Blade website.

Toledo Blade story locked per subscription. Quick view saw a pic of a mess.

On a side note, the Toledo Blade used to have a printing press very similar to our old one. They had the same inking systems, and they had several computer systems similar to ours for newsroom and advertising systems. I worked with them fairly often on projects in the 90s.
