What our forecast looks like.
Are you the fellow with property by Bruce?Got about 18" on my land right now from what I can tell. Some of the ski trails on my land are completely impassible from the October 17th snow, lots of trees down. I'm probably not going to get them cleared this winter, the snow is already too deep for the Ranger and the ground is still too wet and soggy for the snowmobile.
If you post in the trail clearing thread, I may be able to give you some pointers. What I see in your photos, is avoidable.Yup
Photos are from last Saturday -
Here's part of a road I'd just opened up before the snow in October. You can see the trees I cut out of the way, and now there are more...

This trail has trees across it every 25-30 feet the entire length through my land:

I'll probably have to wait until next year so I can salvage some of the wood.
My sister and family are up by Shell Lake. They have about 1500 milk cows. We were invited to her grandaughter's wedding in January. We don't know about going up there in Jan. I should have specified my land in the UP has about 18". On my farm in Wisconsin, we only have a glorified dusting at the moment. I drive back & forth to the UP all winter, usually hauling a trailer, and it's not a big deal. Just gotta be careful and not drive like an idiot when the roads are bad.My sister and family are up by Shell Lake. They have about 1500 milk cows.
