Good morning, the low temp is 22 and the high going to 28°F. Wind WNW 3 mph. 40% chance of flurries.
Got a bucket of ashes put down last evening, just in case of more FR. Didn't happen thankfully. Nor did the inch of snow we were promised.

The town and dump run is on for today.

check, how do you not break your arm again? It isn't like she is doing it deliberately.

Have a safe day all

She fell twice on the ice, about a year apart. The first time they put in a plate, which could have stayed in. But then she fell again and broke the Saint Maarten, and they had to take out the old plate and put in a new one. The new one was much closer to the elbow, and was becoming an irritant. So, after she healed up, they just removed it a couple of days ago.

Frist cup of coffee taste very good. 31° cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 36° with morning snow. Grocery shopping went good. Got all that I wanted. Still see open areas of shelves. Had a good visit with friends in afternoon. Today will get new Wi-Fi network installed. That should go easy. Hooking up to cameras, garage doors and thermostat will be the challenge.
Wolf Full Moon picture was hard to get. Sassy was my helper. Her wanting outdoors in middle of the night. Still had to shoot thru clouds.

Good Morning!

Happy Three Kings Day/Little Christmas!

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly).

and Happy Friday to all!

Tomorrow I will be working on the StarLink installation - that should be an interesting exercise. . .

got a little pissed off at work. This is the training period before tax returns start coming in, and a bunch of us got a high number of practice exercises returned with a lot of errors (which are scored for performance). The errors are due to a new widget malfunctioning - and management knew about it the day before but didn’t tell any of us. . .

you can take the kid out of the city, but you can’t take the city out of the kid. My Jersey came out - it was entertaining.

THEN a general announcement was made to stop using that tool until IT fixes it.

thanks a lot, pal. . .

I hope everyone has a great day,a great weekend, and remember:

They may be “in charge” but they ain’t in control!

42 going to 53...winter is trying to sneak back in.

Don, glad your plantar f. is clearing up quickly and nicely. That stuff is rough.

check, sorry your wife has had to go through so much with her arm. Hope all turns out well.

Went to Paris yesterday to go hiking. Really nice day, hiking in 60s in winter is a rare treat. Hiked to and then past Whiskey Hollow. I was a little disappointed not to find an operating still, but talked with a nice couple there....they were having kimchi for lunch...first time I have seen that on the trail. Also met a thru-hiker heading south to Georgia that looked like Santa Claus. I asked if he was prepared for the big snow that he'd likely hit in the Smokies, and he said it would be gone by the time he got there. Said he left Maine last July, and wasn't planning to arrive at the southern terminus until this July..."that's why my trail name is No Rush."

There was a lot of storm damage, and had to crawl under or climb over 72 blow-downs. Yep, there were so many I decided to count them.

42 outside this AM, heading to lower 50's. Should be another sunny day!

Looks like today I need to work on the outside of the Milk House, starter strips for vinyl and what not.
Still cannot find that darn access hole on that inside wall from the attic. I am really giving it a break for a few days. LOL.

wngsprd, that couple....I think I saw them at Fox Hollow about a month ago. He was serenading her, singing "Home on the Range" while they were taking selfies. Did the whole song. It was...cute. You could tell they were appreciative of where they were.

Hey, it's Friday. Hope all have a great start to the weekend. Be safe.

good morning all
about a third of an inch of rain late yesterday and last night, cloudy and dry today, high of 48

slowly waking up, coffee tastes good, need to shower and be off in a little while to endodontist to take stitches out of mouth.
That will be a relief. pain is gone but mouth still very sensitive and twingey, not overly happy with last month.

then off to pick up friend and we head to Stoltfutz RV in Adamstown near Reading, to look at a very small rv camper trailer.
On way back we will stop at Fretz RV in Souderton and look at one model there. Will be a long day but hopefully a good one.
Mostly some quality time with old friend, have been best friends since 9th grade. He just finished chemo and needs some cheering up.

my sister on the CA coast keeps sending me little videos of huge waves coming in. Next batch of rain hits them today and keeps on raining for many days.
I don't think this will end well except for the reservoirs. At least the forecast is for less than two inches a day.

Rip, that milkhouse will be a real accomplishment when you are done.

first Friday in the new year, TGIF

Ron, seemed like light coming in the bedroom window and I had taken Santa down, hmmmm.
ahhh, it was your moon lighting up the night.
