If you do a second coat, I would try to “texturize” thhe bald spots a bit to minimize slipping on wet, smooth surfaces…
I was thinking the same thing, but as it dried yesterday the FlexSeal shrunk around the "textures" and they are pronounced enough. The plastic drop cloth blew on top of the shoes so a second coat will be needed when it warms up this afternoon. Hope to have a finished photo in 2 days after the 48 hour cure/dry. Then the big test, will the flex seal stick to the sole when flexed and walked on.

Good morning! Ron, I'll take your 38˚F and raise you to 70˚F, Mostly sunny with South winds. No substantial rain the last few weeks so I'll probably have to turn the irrigation system by on after I find out if we are still on water restrictions - one day a week. Building continues at a frantic pace in central Texas so we will probably always be on water restrictions.

Drew, The easy thing to do would be to do live on a cruise ship.

good morning all. Slept in some this morning. 34 going to 42 nice clear day.

No fixed agenda today so will see what to get into

Mostly, the fired heater in the van heats the coolant in the engine. The remote start gets it firing and turns on the vans heater fan so the van is warm inside and the coolant is warm for starting the engine. It sounds a little like a gas turbine starting up and smells like it too. Here is link for similar unit. They are widely used in the trucking industry, RV's, boats etc. espar-eberspacher-hydronic-m10-12v-heater-kit

Good Morning!!!! 53F @ 6:30AM. Occasional rain tapering to a few showers late. Potential for flooding rains. High 56F. Winds SSE at 15 to 25 mph. Chance of rain 100%. Rainfall near a half an inch.
Is 0.86" "near a half an inch" of rain? That's what we picked up overnight, and there's no sign of it letting up anytime soon. Still windy enough to drive it sideways into the glass slider, and get the screen creaking and groaning.

Don/Ted, I've been trying to push rain your way for the past couple of weeks, but it seems to have a mind of its own. No sunshine in the 10-day, only one dry day out of the ten, so I'll keep trying. As warm as it has been, maybe we should be pinning this on David?

It was dry and the wind moderated yesterday morning enough that I was able to get the rest of the sheet steel off the porch cover and stack it in a more sheltered location. We'll know once daylight comes if it had enough weight on it to stay in one place.

The rain has been moving the gravel around on the driveway, and it looks like there's not enough cross slope up near the hill top to keep it from cutting ruts going downhill. Not sure there's much that can be done at this point, but the roller is still here for when it drys out a little.

Got a little more done on the mirror brackets, still more to go.

Another inside day, probably start off with paperwork.

Hope everyone's week gets off on the right foot.

Thanks, that is what I was wondering, how much air is introduced while making the connection.

So if you decided to shorten the lines, you would have to connect, then evac the Freon, then cut and flare the line then vac and recharge.
Yep.... shorten / cut the line.... well you may as well just get a different brand that has to be evacuated and filled. They are usually less in cost, but then the additional cost of filling, puts them a bit more expensive.

Can you pass on the pizza dough recipe, I want to try different one.
Sure can, but remember, our recipes are adjusted for "high altitude" around 7000ft. I'll post them in a little while.

Mostly, the picture is of a grist mill driven by the water running through the basement part of the building. It is now converted to living but the water is still running through the basement. I am sure there is a gentle sound of the water flowing through that is good for going to sleep. It is located very close to our property and we often drive by that area.
