I was surprised today to discover that I did have someone on my ignore list... I only found out because somebody else quoted him.
I don't even know (or care) how to do it, and DodgeMan is certainly one of the last I would want to stop reading.

There are certain posters who I skip right over, but only one who I've ever considered blocking. Every once in a while he says something which makes me glad that I didn't.

OTOH, he apparently has me blocked. Que sera, sera.

There are just 2 iirc that incite others on politics because they know they will not be booted. Not a big fan of people trying to bait others into bad behavior. For me it is worth it. I doubt anything either of them would say would make it worthwhile. It's not about disagreement either. I get a lot of insight from posters with whom I disagree.

Guys, the reason I ask, I had some dude tell me I'm going on their ignore list, which I though was pretty odd considering how awesome I am lol! But for real, I understand if somebody is constantly being a real prick and/or stalkerish, but me personally I've yet to encounter somebody on here like that. And I've been on here 4 yrs already. There's a couple posters I sparred with a little bit, but it's not a big deal and I still see them post valuable stuff sometimes. So I was just wondering how common it is to use the ignore list.

Daddy told me long ago, even if you don't like somebody, you can learn something from them. I will say I have an empty ignore list. No blocked numbers on my phone. Sleep very good each night. That is valuable.

Good for you - I know what you mean, everybody needs their rest. I think ignoring people and blocking spam has little if anything to do with sleep habits. I'm never gonna lose sleep over ignoring somebody.

Gene - that's pretty funny that the guy specifically messaged you to tell you that you are now on his Ignore list! I can just imagine somebody so butt-hurt that the just had to let you know and get the last word in.

Roust- I do block numbers on my cell. There are only so many car warranties that I need!

There’s a saying:

Perhaps a more modern version is : “If you have to put an ***hole on ignore in the morning, put an ***hole on ignore in the after noon, and put…..”

I have one and almost feel bad I think everyone can bring something valuable at some point...but ya his comments are often bold and arrogant, and I find him annoying because of it.

I'll bet it's the same person who is the sole member of my ignore list. But we don't want to name names here, or numbers.
