Disc Harrow HOWSE LTR SERIES DISC MANUAL

I recently bought a Howse LTR20822B disc. It is in good shape, I need to do a little work on it and re-set the blades to less aggressive. But I do not have an owners/user manual. Does anyone have a manual they can share with me?

I have recently bought the same disc, did you find the adjustment instructions? I have a [AFFILIATE=1, nofollow=true, newwindow=true, title="Kubota"]Kubota[/AFFILIATE] L3200 to pull it with and think this disc is on the upper end if my tractor will pull it, comments please.

Howse Model DLHT 20822B

This 6 ft disc harrow has a powder coat painted heavy duty 2" X 3" tubular frame with 3" X 3" tubular arms. It comes standard with adjustable gangs, ball bearings, 1" axles, 7 1/2" spacing, double u-bolts, clevis style hitch, 18" blades, and is quick hitch compatible.


Discs with 7-1/2" pan spacing are designed for smoothing plow furrows.

If you have no interest in breaking new ground, and if your L3200 has 4-WD, the [AFFILIATE=1, nofollow=true, newwindow=true, title="Kubota"]Kubota[/AFFILIATE] L3200 should pull the Howse "OK". Certainly this disc is at the upper end of what your L3200 can pull on a second pass when the ground is soft.

Tractor weight is the key factor.

Less important factors are rear tire fill (air or liquid) and tire type (R1/ag tires provide better traction on dirt than R4/industrial tires).
