No kidding? I thought they were built in South Africa and Thailand, that's cool that it's imported from the States. I knew the ones sold here are made here, but I was unaware they were sent abroad.

This is what I thought I saw from behind, apparently it was released in 2011, and I saw a bunch of these- nice and new- in Afghanistan. It was my introduction to, what was known here as the World Ranger. Of course when I went browsing through my photos I only found the previous generation.

A new model was released a few months ago. I thought about it, but I doubt I would be as happy as I am with this one. Can't fault it.

I thought they built some in Mexico for the south American market and somewhere in the pacific ring.

Yes, I was thinking of my Mustang, sorry. Ranger is Taiwan.
All our F series used to be built in Mexico and were converted to RHD here in Aus.

I'd guess his Ranger is around 2014, plus or minus a few years; I can't tell but it looks like the generation released around 2009.

Looks like a Ford Mondeo = Ford Contour in USA.

They're unrelated to the Mondeo; it's RWD and possibly V8.

Falcon is a 4.0 litre double overhead cam. And yes, there is a V8 version.

Just checking, Has anyone noticed when their "Change Engine Oil Soon" light comes on? Mine came on after 9 months and 10,000 miles. (Using full synthetic 5W30.)
