Kilroy, unless your new oil breather is made of plastic, I would suggest some anti-seize grease on the fill pipe.
What, and deny me the opportunity to go through all this again????😂🤣😂🤣👍

Good evening! Got up to 63° or so today. Was quite nice. Now the wind is blowing, some rain is near.

Just did a mix of garage and outside stuff today. Ordered some parts for a bike project. Wife said we needed some odds and ends from the grocery store, used that as an excuse for a ride on the Triumph. It makes a nice little truck.

We stayed outside until dark. Heard the tree frogs for the first time this year!

Everyone stay safe out there

Half of the landscaping watered. Two cracked fittings replaced. Third fitting needs replaced, but did not have one.
Ran into town to a 'new' outlet place that opened a couple weeks ago. They apparently get all the discontinued items from HD. Bunch of electrical, plumbing, tools, just a whole bunch of stuff....

I had noticed some drip irrigation stuff last week, but they didn't have a giant pallet unloaded. Today, got about $90 worth of irrigation for $25. Then spotted one of those battery operated siphon pumps..... couldn't refuse it for $4.

Of course they didn't have the one fitting that I really needed, so went over to HD. Picked up a few other fittings that will be needed for other possible repairs. After seeing the $20 price on the main 1/2 tubing, I'm going back to the new place to pick up a couple rolls for $5 each. I was going to get some when I was there, but decided to see if I had some stashed at home.... nope.

Should have listened to that little voice.....

Good morning TBN brothers and sisters. Still warm here, another 80-degree day forecast. Headed to accountant for taxes and the VA office. Hopefully more "hay field improvement" this week. Decided to put out Lime. The latest quote is $48/ton put out. Of course, I have to purchase 25-36 tons - a full load.

The F-4 Phantom. Introduced in the early 60's, production 5000+. A MACH 2+ multirole with several variants. A very capable aircraft, the early versions were smoke generators. Could see the black smoke from a long way off.

Best wishes to all!

Poured first cup of coffee. 28° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 39° with mostly sunny skies. Got .4" of snow yesterday afternoon. Never made it to shop and barn for cleanup. Spent time on phone trying to get rebate from Comcast for outage time. After to much frustrating time on phone got that straighten out. Had a package problem with Amazon. Never did get that straighten out. One of my Lazy Z Boy recliners remote control stopped working. Called customer serve and got to talk to a real person. Then a call from a service tech. Will be out with parts to repair next week. Enough aggravation after the first 2 calls. Took a nap.
Woke up about midnight from a loud noise that sounded like another tree came down. Could not see anything near house. Went back to sleep. No plans for today yet.
Today is March Full Worm Moon. Should be available to see by me from 7PM to 6AM tomorrow. I caught this view at 98% view on Monday morning.

Good Morning!

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly. . .).

Currently 58.6F, should be another nice weather day.

one of the downsides to StarLink is that our ground station is out of Atlanta. So we get Atlanta-market commercials. Yay…

today is the one year anniversary of our closing on the woodlot. Much - MUCH - further behind that I had hoped to be at this point, but Mrs is finally on board with actually putting in the necessary time and effort to accomplish what needs to be done. One thing we will be doing come May is purchasing a prefab building to make into a bunkhouse on-site. Quick and easy.

Mrs. also pdecided the cook can have a day off, so we will be going out to our fav Mexican restaurant tonight.

gollected another 5+ quarts of walnut sap - ehould I make syrup, or try fermenting it? Decisions, decisions. . .

Maybe between getting out of work and heading to dinner, we will get the other two strands of barbed wire up. we are also going to weave thin branches every 4-6 inches as vertical withies into the wire to help prevent smaller animal intrusion (actually to keep our dog in and away from the barbs 😁), and also greatly reduce the size of our burn pile. Reduce/reuse/Recycle, right?

time to start getting ready to process data. Need more coffee. . .

I hope everybody has a wonderful happy healthy safe blessed day!
