41 outside this AM, heading to mid 50's. No rain, which is good. Yard needs work, looks like the weeds are really growing. Grass could be cut too on the back and side yards. Coming in nice and thick.
More Milk House work today. Yesterday's supply run took most of the day. Found the soffit I needed and got more J-Channel since I had scope creep on wrapping the walkway to the barn. Still need to get two more recessed lights in, but ran out of sawsall blades. Another trip to HD is in order.

Good morning,
29°F now, highs today in the mid 30’s, winds NW 10-15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph and partly sunny.
Had some tree limbs and tops come down in the wind yesterday, gusts up near 50 mph, plenty of clean up to do after the snow melts and mud dries up.
Busy day yesterday, errands, groceries and daily living stuff.
Not much planned for today just putter around.

good morning all
woke up to a white world outside, looks like about half an inch of snow covering everything but walkway and driveway already melted.
not a great night, woke up around 3am with bad neckache and headache, microwaved my heat wrap and took some tylenol and a little better now.
I guess too much excitement yesterday.
yes, I could have used an adapter on the dvd player but wanted better spec/upscaling of new unit, particularly since it was so cheap. I invested in the nicer OLED tv and sound bar so
wanted to feed it the best signal I can. Will be streaming to the smart tv once I figure out how to do that.
going to wait a bit to go foodshopping this morning, need to get snow brush out to clean off car. Cold weather next week, lot of nights in 20's. They say whole East coast will be colder
than normal.

When we were shopping for our Motorhome in 2005-6. We looked at several Alfa See Ya Gold models that had the double slide. Alfa had lots of electronics on them. Great RV’s but they went out of business. Leaving many without a way to get repairs to electronics.

Good morning, the low temp is 16 and the high to 30°F. Wind N 14 gusting to 23 mph. Increasing cloudiness.

I got a e mail of money Sunday and couldn't deposit it into my bank account. Had to wait until yesterday to talk to the help line from the bank. Within 5 minutes all was good (I hadn't changed my email address on the account since 20 years ago, my bad). Got hold of the guy that sent me the loot and he resent it. All is good. I will be plowing him out until the end of March 2024. Even though I say a one year (365 days) contract, I go to the end of the month of the following year.
The only people that I let slide on their plowing contract is the ones on the corner. I have known them for 25 of the 29 years I have been here. They had some Mother troubles and a huge move for her (80s) from the city to up here, so I let them slide on the payment, knowing full well that when they remembered I would get paid. I got paid. They have gotten quotes from other snow plowers, but they wont plow between the garage and the house. I will. My 5' back blade does it nicely with about 6" on either side clearance.
The roof on the shelter logic shed I keep the tractor in is toast. I will replace that in Spring after the snow is gone. I have a spare roof.
The snow and ice is slowly leaving the parking area up near the house, but not in the driveway yet.
I have been pricing out Quonset huts and I had better 'pick the right 6 numbers', win the lottery IF I want one any time soon. About 100 grand for the hut plus the 52x28 concrete pad plus the contractor to install all of it. Then there is the electrical and the plumbing to go into it (I can do that myself). I want a Quonset hut because you don't need to worry about the snow load on them. If I got a regular square walled building, then it would have the be a A frame roof and would make the building too high in comparison to the house.
As for what I will get up to today? Not much.

Good Morning!!!! 39F @ 5:00AM. Partly cloudy skies this morning will give way to occasional showers during the afternoon. High 52F. Winds SSE at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 50%.
Another quarter inch of rain yesterday, still no sunshine in the 10-day.
Neat moon shot, Ron. No wonder the clouds outside this morning are so bright!
A little phone aggravation goes a long way.
Lots of flat roofed buildings have collapsed under heavy snow loads out here, Bill. At least two of them have been grocery stores, leaving the surrounding communities to go hungry, as the roads are also closed and nothing can get in or out.
Checked the oil level in the rear differential on the Ford yesterday and it was only a tiny bit low. Found the really old StaLube gear oil container with the pump, and it only took a few squirts before it was overflowing. Never throw anything away. Also read up on replacing the pinion seal, just need to figure out if the diff is Ford or Dana.
Furnace seems to be working fine now. But I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
