Copper dog 150 is this weekend, good time and nice warm weather despite mediocre snow. One of the few times I've been up to copper harbor without snowmobiles, amazing area looks like great state parks and campgrounds for summer.

Wife and I went summer camping around copper harbor many years ago. Impressive crop of mosquitos! Beautiful area.

So GH day is Feb 2.
Comes out and sees his shadow, 6 more weeks of winter.
Comes out and does not see his shadow, early spring.

1st day of spring is March 20.
6 more weeks of winter after Feb 2 is March 16 (unless leap year) = early Spring.

He's right either way!

That groundhog..... grrrrr!
