Then keep a pencil and paper handy ...
Personally, I'd like a pony ... but have no expectations whatsoever that the site owner will deliver one to me.
Yep, not too many freebies around here. Just word erasers. Let us know if you get a pony. I think we'll have better outcome if Drew hits the big lottery.
42F actually colder now than early this morning. Winds are a blowing. I started the fireplace after weeks of non use.
Don, I hope you and your wifey get feeling better soon.
Billy, your hikes never cease to amaze me. I'm thankful just to see the pics. I would eat like a ravenous wolf if I burned that many calories.....wait, I already eat like one, so I better get to cracking. Will they let electric bikes on the trails? Horses?
Ron, what a cool experience to go the proving/testing grounds. I would love to do that, or better yet, work there....(if only it were a wee bit further south, like in central Texas).
Son turns 13 today. He is a blessing. 13 years and 9 months ago, we weren't planning on another kid, but God thought otherwise. He has won math competitions, chess competitions, 400 meter dash competitions (2 now), and he loves to fish. Now, if I could just get him to do his chores without prompting.
Cracked Waterline sitrep: I have a very small crack in a Tee on my 2" main waterline. We have it dug out. I will have to break the main line. I'm a bit apprehensive. I was going to do it late yesterday, but worried that the stores were closed if I needed another fitting. Also, with my son's b-day, it's a big weekend for us. I might try Sharkbite fittings that go from Pex to PVC 3/4". I bought the $17 silicone tape to wrap them like they recommend. If I can make the PVC fittings align, I might just go all PVC and get about $50 back from my yesterday's jaunt to the box store. Since it is a very slow leak, I might wait until warmer weather. Anything below 60F is freezing to me. Ha ha.
This old Snapper rider: My FIL (passed away last May) had tried to use the old snapper to clear out some pasture for a deer feeder. Ended up tearing up the deck, and the height adjustment mechanisms...I went by the old lawnmower repair shop, (wow does he have a lot of old/broken stuff lying around), and he had a Snapper mower deck. $10 bucks, Score! and a slightly used blade, $10 bucks, Score again! Now I need a battery and some PM to be Forrest Gump like.
Have a great day all!
