HAPPY BIRTHDAY to SOPHIE!!!!!!!!!!!
I saw the first Blue Bonnetts of the year in my neighborhood this morning.
Are your TPMS sensors mounted on the valve stems? If so most manufactures recommend metal valve stems.my day started out really well.
And then it went downhill.
pulling into rest stop near Fayettville NC, my tpms system went nuts, screeching away. I looked at the readouts, 18 pounds of pressure in right rear inside tire. Pulled into truck lot and parked, called for road service. after two hours and being passed from one place to another, what a screw up for Good Sam, I called them back and lit into them.
guy shows up in half an hour and did a great job.
Valve stem had broken in half. I asked him if that happened often and he said he had seen a few. Steel ????
well at least tire was fine, no damage, except to my nerves and for sure my patience as this added three hours to the day.
I'm in safe and sound near Lake Marion in SC, too tired to go take pictures. Going to be an early night.
glad I bought the aftermarket tpms system and glad I had a towing/road service contract.
onward to Jacksonville tomorrow.
And many more!HAPPY BIRTHDAY to SOPHIE!!!!!!!!!!!
They gotta learn sometime. . .

I also have a small culvert that needs cleaning.Still need to look through my stuff to see what would make the best poker for the culvert pipe. I am sure I have something lying around. I was pulling out some roots as it seems some plants are trying to hold things together 6' into a cement pipe. Nature is tenacious.
I took my Motorhome to a shop that had a Hunter Elite/load force balancer. Solved my vibration problems.frits, the valve stems were metal, it simply cracked in half. I kept it, will take a picture tonight. Valve stems were metal and extensions were solid steel. I'm wondering if those little sensors on end are stressing the whole works. Also wondering if they are adding to a little tire shimmy I have, and shouldn't, after a complete front end balance including tires. Wonder if that weight is acting like a little pendulum throwing off tire balance.
Conversely, I didn’t consider the issue of cattle because all the cattle where I am get de-horned so that is the imagery in my mind, not the pointy-stabby-jabby-bleedy thingy. . .I didn't consider the electric fence 'danger'. I was thinking the lure of a couple of cattle (with horns) to be explored.
“Except I didn’t say ‘fudge’…” -type situation?I just dropped the motor home down off the jack fast the that broke the inner loose and off it came. Put the spare on the inside and the outer back on and we were off to the races, more or less. Dad got into a heap of trouble with Mom, because we didn't warn her of what we were gonna do and she was still inside. Oops, sorry Ma.
