rs, if you don't much like the stink of fish cooking cut an orange in half across the segments and put half in a small saucepan about half covered in water cut side down and set that on low heat on a back burner of the stove. I found out about that a few years ago when a Newfie was cooking cod (I hate the smell of cod fish cooking). It works!

cleaned most of rv interior, then off to garden center for a car load. Couple flats of pansies, another 8 strawberry plants and four tomatoes.
waiting for rest of tomato plants until next week, make sure no freezes coming. Got almost all of it planted except for some pansies, ran out of steam,
Using a cordless drill and small planting auger really makes this easier.
need to rest for a bit, but a couple hours of planting is good for the soul.

Bill's idea on fish sounds good.
Have to admit after reading quite tasty, although it had quite the fishy smell, first thing that came to mind
was that was what a cat would say too...;)

66°F and .13 inches rain.

Ophthalmologist quite pleased with Sophie’s eye improvement, especially the reduced swelling. Continue drop regimen and back in a month.

Celebrated with a double scoop at Baskin Robbins.

Hope to finish the roof work on tractor shed extension. Need to find my pneumatic snips to cut 24 ft of custom drip edge. Of course I hear it raining and I’m not up there if wet.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Talked to our neighbors wife over the fence> She is the builder and fixer in the family. She was improving the chicken coop since the foxes had taken all her chickens. I saw one yesterday leaving the area. It looked happy. She got rid of her goats, two small one saying it was too expensive to feed them. Can not imagine that two goats would be much. We had 50 goats that my wife took care of and we used to cut hay from our own property and supplement with feed from the feed store.
Also asked her about the dropping level in their pond. Overflow is rusting out and dropping the level. It is down 5 or 6 ft I think. She said it was very expensive to put in a new overflow. Mine had rusting down too far to fix so plugged it up with concrete and put in a new one with the excavator. Suggested she fix it like the old farmers do. Lower pond level with a 2 inch syphon and splice in a slightly smaller pipe in the old overflow and seal it with mortar to the old overflow pipe and be done. She would look into that. Don't think they can do it themselves though. City folks that moved to country living. She is struggling with her wheel barrow and shovel around the place

First mow of the front yard, it was almost a foot tall in couple places. Back don’t need it yet.
Got something leaking on right hydro unit, not the filter or fill port, somewhere on top I can’t see. Plenty of fluid in reservoir, so small leak, but put a spot on the floor over the winter.
Drove down to creek when done, then noticed right front tire was low so came back to barn Don’t know if it was low when I mowed or just started leaking. Probably should change the oil.
Snagglepuss sleeping on porch with me now. No rain yet. Need to get lunch.

Yes, I like to say all people should just treat all people as people.
Would solve a lot of problems.

Glad you got back home safe Drew. I drove some of the same route and thought what it would be like driving a motor home on those roads. Just couple bad places, like north of charlotte, and statesville construction. Most of I77 was pretty good road. Traffic on I81 lighter than weekends. View attachment 793843
Pebbles enjoying my lap. Loves the chin rubbing.
