Both? The rail unions are complaining to the press that running longer trains with reduced staff is causing this. They may be right.Are we having more and more derailments, or am I just paying more attention to the ones which we have?
I tend to agree with that. Even with all the automated detection equipment on the sides of the tracks, checking as trains go by, if no one is around to actually do something about it, it ends badly.Both? I've heard similar stories from my brother in-law that is a heavy equipment operator.I have to bore under a railroad in three places for the project I'm working on. The railroad company is a pain to work with!
