I got the bolt out, but will need a new bolt, and probably need to run a tap thru the hole, doubt I have one that size. Had to use two 1/2” extensions to get past outer rim and the long 1/2” ratchet with a pipe on it. After it gave some I used impact.
Mowed along creek, the hill and field, and most of back yard and some of front. Frost this morning and supposed to hit 90° Friday.

Robin looking for food. Top of pink dogwood starting to bloom.

Dennis, wonder if that tap is borrowable or rental from someplace? Maybe automotive supplier than has tools?

Another cloudy, breezy, and raw day with 30ºF as the morning's low temperature. Currently it is 39ºF with a 36ºF wind chill. A lot has gone on since I last posted. I promised Peg that I would "downsize" from Saint Bernard rescues. Last year We rescued another dog from the Deep South. He was supposed to be an Anatoly Shepherd X Labrador Retriever. He looks like a wolf and acts like a wolf. Our vet recommended a DNA to see if he is a wolf hybrid. Well the results came back and he is a Anatoly Shepherd X German Shepherd who had Swiss White Shepherd is his genetic mix. He is too big to get an accurate weight on the vet's floor scale, but the DNA results indicated that he will be around 130# which seems accurate. And as to "downsizing;" He is taller and longer than any of our Saint B's; just 50#'s lighter. He barely fits in my Ford Maverick.

He's a beauty with strong personality.
Hope mud season about over for you.

Thomas- Thanks. We were his 4th (and final) placement. He completely failed obedience school, but I was really happy that he was human and canine friendly, and good on leash.
It's a long story, but We actually now have a paved driveway that was not planned. This paving company really came here with a lot of hot asphalt and nowhere to lay it down last Fall from a project down the road. 3.5" everywhere and 7" in the area they swaled, and they returned and sealed the edges.
