Morning all! 34 heading to 60ish. Yesterday was cold ,windy and cloudy. Tomorrow could hit high 70's.
Stayed in the house and played in the wood shop. Hopefully today will be better so I can get more outside cleanup done. Green stuff is pushing up from the ground and soon we will have grass and flowers! Need to put down grub killer and reseed the back yard as it is all but destroyed.
Wife's voice is not improving and now she is having random dizzy episodes! We think it's due to the meds they are having her take. Need to follow up with the doctor. Could be allergy related also.
Not much else going on. Couple of flower beds need to be ripped up and replanted with new as they are going on 10 or so years old. Maybe start on that soon as weather allows.
Here are a couple of pics of the latest wood turnings:
Hope everyone stays safeand healthy!

good morning all
45 going up to 71, nice sunny day

Phil, hope your wife feels better soon.
Buppies, hope your morning starts better too.
My right hand is all swollen where I bashed the center of it changing mower blades, hard to make a fist now, but it will go away.
Headed back out to Gravely in a little bit to fool with the spark plugs, figure out what I did wrong.

Phil, where are you finding your wood supply/blanks?
looks like a lot of fun and every one is unique

pollen is covering everything outside, makes my eyes itch

gut is cooperating this morning, think I'm over that little episode.

David, please tell Sophie her BX looks extra nice. (y)
Darn glad your feeling better Drew :)
Ouch :( take it easy on the hand.
Pollen 🙄

Good Morning.
It’s 42 and going to a sunny 70 today.
Yesterday’s trip went well, I was hoping to see the rocket launch at cape canaveral, I was right there at the scheduled launch time, but it was delayed until we were on the ground in Palm Beach. You can see out route and the restricted airspace for the launch in the display, we were at 32,000 feet and just on top of a layer of clouds, it would have been awesome to see the rocket blast through them.

I did get home early enough to get the grill guard installed, I was impressed with the quality of it, it came with stainless hardware and even a drill bit and Allen wrench to install it. Messicks did a good job.

And spend some time with Zoe chasing her jolly ball.

Threw some hay down out of the loft, cooked dinner out on the grill and called it a day.

Today will be breakfast with the professor, some shop work while the dew dries up, then it’s time to hook up the progressive and do some mowing. A neighbor is bringing over the gas tank from his Massey 35 for me to braze up, he washed it with soap and water, I’ll fill it with CO2 just to be safe before I put a torch to it. Not sure what else I’ll get into, hopefully fly RC later in the afternoon.
Zoe growing like weed. :)

BEF, I have a M16x1.5 tap if you still need it

Thanks, Amazon delivering one tomorrow.
Not looking forward to trying to manhandle the tire again, although the pallet fortress does provide protection. Probably won’t try for awhile, got other things I need to get done.

it would be fun if Santa brought one of these for Mostly:

finished school board finance meeting, long presentation by investment advisers at Friends Fiduciary, the Philadelphia investment bank most often used by Quakers.
then decided to take our 5 percent annual draw. 70/30 portfolio, all very vanilla except 100 percent is screened. No guns, no alcohol, no harmful energy (?...), no tobacco, etc etc. Catholics have something similar for their own hot buttons. Pretty sure the Mormons do too. .55 total portfolio management cost. Vanguard cheap but with inherent extra cost to screen everything. Same organization also does my own church so I've seen this power point dog and pony presentation a few too many times.

am up early tomorrow to hose down the rv, get most of pollen off it, then drive it to Souderton Pa to get new tires put on and front wheels rebalanced with the
hub caps and tpms sensor on while balancing. Also replacing current straight valve stem extensions with flexible ones, to lessen stress on valve stem.

was a very pretty day today

hand swelling going down. I hurt it worse than I thought, bled pretty well, but i cleaned it, Bactine, antibiotics cream, etc.
And then it started to swell up, I can still barely make a fist. Needless to say, was very very careful swinging the ratchet wrench today on the spark plugs.

this too shall pass.
have a good evening.
